The new Technology Center, which grows in Lidická Street at the headquarters of the KUBOUŠEK Group, extends opportunities for training and education as well. Times when a brief training of technologists was enough for machine control are gone. Today’s technology makes it possible to keep track of the entire production process, product quality, and avoid undesirable situations. However, it is necessary to know your machine and the technology used perfectly. Therefore, together with the Technology Center, also an Education Center is established in České Budějovice, which will provide customers with know-how on how to achieve the best results. The visions of the training were shared by the head of the Education Center Tereza Velíšková.
What changes will the Education Center concept bring to customers??
The Education Center, in its first stage of development, continued in March this year on the existing concept of the Training Center. The most fundamental change will be a substantially wider range of training products, more intensive and systematic customer care, and care for professional training of own employees.
Will the Education Center continue to develop?
Yes, if the Education Center wants to fulfil its purpose and carry the word “Training” proudly and rightly in its title, then the only way is the endless development. We want to provide training in the area of the latest technologies, injection moulding machines, their peripherals, measuring instruments and systems. All this means great responsibility to customers and to us and, of course, continuous development.
It is no secret that KUBOUŠEK, founding the Education Center, set forward on a very fundamental and courageous way that will lead to the creation of a unique training institute. The purpose of this way will be to meet the demand of both customers and KUBOUŠEK Group for highly skilled human resources. We will be able to prepare and train new employees, according to the technical needs and standards of our company. Over time, we will offer this opportunity to other companies in our region and even to regions throughout the Czech Republic.
The Education Center will take care not only of customers, but of course of own employees. If we want to provide our services to our customers and wider professional public, we need to take care of the maximum level of technical knowledge and the ability to pass on this knowledge. We should have not only expert “know-how”, but also the ability to present it to our customers. Therefore, the Education Center will be responsible for continuous and regular professional growth of our employees. I firmly believe that the employee of the KUBOUŠEK Group will be a synonym for perfect services for customers thanks to the efforts of the Training Center.
The plan is to establish cooperation between the Education Center and universities. How is this vision far and what do you promise?
Yes, the cooperation plan not only with universities, but also with secondary industrial schools and vocational schools is another task of the Education Center. It is another vision of Ivan Kuboušek, the president of the Group, which ceases to be just a vision and gets its very specific outlines. Collaboration with schools is extremely important. It is an opportunity to get new and capable employees directly from schools as soon as possible and give them the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills in our company.
During the spring we managed to establish cooperation with several universities and secondary schools, which by their specialization meet our needs. We have offered them specific long-term cooperation programs that will of benefit to both parties. Schools welcome the opportunity to involve their students in technological and manufacturing companies. Of course, they have their technical background, but our capabilities are incomparable thanks to the Technological Center being built.
Two pilot blocks of lectures for South Bohemian University, more precisely for the field of Mechatronics, will start in the autumn. Our best trainers have prepared 4 lectures for students, including practical demonstrations at the Technological Center. I believe that students and their professors will be interested in the lectures we are preparing for the summer semester.
