After the successful opening of the Technology Center, another KUBOUŠEK project was launched. The Education Center started its program of long-term cooperation with schools by a block of autumn lectures for students of the University of South Bohemia.
Students gained professional experience right in the premises of the Technology Center
The injection molding process was shown directly on the KraussMaffei GX machine.
On 30 October and 6 November the Educational Center offered a special lecture blocks to the students of the 4th year of the Mechatronics field of study. The theoretical part took place in the Training Center premises, practical demonstrations in the newly opened Technology Center.
A guide to the first block was the head of the Training Center Miroslav Beníšek with the topic of Application of Injection Molding Machines and Peripheral Devices in Plastics Practice and the head of the Technology Center Ing. Petr Falc with the topic of Technology of Physical Foaming of Thermoplastic Materials and its Influence on Mechanical Properties of Parts.
The second block took place under the baton of young specialists in the automation and implementation of robots in production – trainer Jan Klíma, who prepared the topic of Technology of Linear Handling Robots and Their Use in the Plastics Industry, and application engineer Marek Návara with the topic of Automation of Machine Operation Using Six-Axis Robots.

It is important to combine education with practice at the right time
“These days confirmed the students’ interest in the possibilities of the KUBOUŠEK Group and showed how necessary is the linking of the education with the practice at the right time. So not just before the end of studies, but already in the third or fourth year. At this time, it is possible to establish a truly beneficial cooperation with students, which can take the form of longer practice, but also long-term temporary job”, evaluates the action the head of the Education Center, Mgr. Tereza Velíšková. This reveals both the student’s potential and abilities and the image of the real functioning of the company. If a student then decides to work with the company after completion of his studies, his “running-in” in the company is just a matter of days and the phase of any disillusionment sometimes faced by newcomers is out of the question. For the company, it also means that it accepts an almost ‘ready’ person with knowledge of the company’s business and its focus”, adds Velíšková.
Other goals of the Education Center
The Education Center was established in March this year and its aim is to build the long-term synergy relations between the KUBOUŠEK Group and the educational institutions in the Czech Republic and Slovakia through individual cooperation programs. The series of technical lectures for students will therefore continue smoothly throughout the next year to cover the widest range of schools and reach as many students as possible.
