We will be presenting for the 28th time at the International Engineering Fair (IEF) in Brno this year. We opened a stand for you directly at the trade fair last year, a virtual window to our Technology Centre. This year we have adopted an unconventional style that links the long production process with the final product, which is a symbol of technical progress today.
The KUBOUŠEK exhibition 3x
For the first time this year, you will find us at the IEF in three locations. In addition to the traditional stands in Pavilions G1 and F, we will also have an exhibition in Pavilion P, where we will present together with one of the world leaders in robotics – ABB.
Interconnecting modern technology in our lives
Since you can see and experience the complete presentation of our services all year at the KUBOUŠEK Technology Centre in České Budějovice, we have decided to approach this year’s exposition in Pavilion G1 unconventionally, from the other side. With an innovative final product, we show you how its functionality and design are influenced by new manufacturing technologies that push the limits of progress.
Minimizing the costs of automation
In Pavilion F, which specializes in quality control and measuring instruments, we show that investing in automation is not necessarily expensive. Automation is easy to implement on your existing measuring machines and instruments, as seen with the retrofit 3D coordinate measuring machine Mitutoyo Euro C 776 Apex, which will be integrated with 2 six-axis robots. Both robots will work with the measuring machine to insert, remove and sort the products that are measured.
Precise positioning and handling of products
We will present an autonomous measuring line on a mobile platform developed according to special customer requirements in cooperation with the world’s leading robot manufacturer, ABB, in Pavilion P. This platform is suitable for anyone who deals with precise handling and positioning automatically, without the intervention of the production operator. In addition, the line also performs double quality control. A 2D camera mounted directly on the ABB IRB 1200 robot checks for surface defects. The robot then moves the products to the VICIVISION MTL M1 optical measuring instrument, where diameters, lengths, angles, shape deviations and run-outs are checked. Of course, the scraps are separated from the parts.
