The Technology Center will be an important achievement not only thanks to the new KraussMaffei machines and the innovative technologies that will be used on them but also thanks to the selected peripheral devices. And we asked Pavel Sojka, head of the Plastic Periphery Division of KUBOUŠEK s.r.o. just for the benefits to customers in this area.
Pavel, could you tell us what peripheral equipment for injection molding machines will be in the implemented Technology Center?
All the basic peripheral devices that are needed to operate the injection machine will be represented in the implemented Technological Center. From the machine cooling system (ONI), mold temperature control units (Regloplas), to the material preparation technologies, i.e. drying, dispensing and conveying of materials (KOCH-TECHNIK) and, of course, also devices that ensure the recycling of waste generated during injection (Rapid).
In addition to these basic technologies, devices for metal particle separation and metal detection (Sesotec) will also be presented.
As I said at the beginning, our goal is to show our customers a comprehensive portfolio of products that are absolutely necessary to ensure trouble-free operation of injection molding machines.
The Regloplas VARIO is a new product on the market. What advantages does it bring to the production process compared to the previous versions?
It is a combination of a switching unit and two temperature control units, one of which is used for heating and the other for cooling. The principle lies in extremely fast temperature variations on the mold, which is ensured by the Vario switching unit. This makes it possible to achieve special properties such as high gloss at minimum energy demand.
It can be said about KOCH-TECHNIK’s technologies and equipment that it is a fixed star on the market. What are they so extraordinary?
The KOCH-TECHNIK brand is synonymous with German precision and quality. Their technologies for material drying, conveying and dosing are exceptional in terms of robustness, high reliability, and innovative equipment. Thanks to these simple and yet key features, they are very popular with our customers.
What do you feel about the greatest benefits of our Technology Center for Plastic Peripheral customers?
The biggest advantage is the possibility of presenting peripheral devices, as it is called “live”, and the associated possibility of simulating real production operations. Everyone will confirm that no catalogue or presentation will replace the real and practical demonstration of a particular device.
